Zach Morriss

Morriss’ piece for the Marfa Open 2018 depicts a Google Earth print out of a Texas interstate wheatpasted to a 8’ wooden pylon, mounted in a classic orange construction cone. It was installed in the gallery for the duration of the festival.

Zach is an interdisciplinary artist and university professor based out of Lubbock, TX.

The use of recycled elements, found object, and interpretive design mark his work.
