The idea is to write a letter to a stranger and receive a letter in return. Marfa Correspondence Society is ordinarily a roaming project. We’re glad to host a permanent letter-writing station inside of our main gallery space.
The station is housed in a section of antique post office boxes and participants are encouraged to write a letter to a stranger using the stationary provided. Afterwards you can exchange your letter for one that someone else has written.
